Assessment of Technology Tools - Rating: 5 Excellent, 1 Poor

I had a difficult time accessing the Firefox tool because it wasn't on my laptop and I would have had to download it onto my laptop, which I could not because my laptop did not have a lot of memory space to download anything. I did access the tool from different computers as long as the software was downloaded. It was pretty fast at loading pages and had pleasingly visual graphics. I found it to be very user friendly, easy navigation. I rate this tool as a 4 out of 5 points.

The Moodles page is very easy to access, once you have the access key, it could be accessed from any computer station. The page is user friendly because all you have to do is point and click. There is not much else you can do on this page aside from accessing assignments and uploading them. There is little visual appeal. I rate this tool as 3 out of 5 points.

Google Apps is easy to access. It is very user friendly and graphically appealling. Good speed for uploading files and sites. The features like Documents and Share are fun to use and practical. These features can be used for education as well as on the job. I rate this tool as 4 out of 5 points.

The Delicious tool is very user friendly. I enjoy using this tool because it allows easy reference to sites that have been bookmarked. It doesn't have too much visuals but that is probably a good thing because you might not want a lot of things to distract from the bookmarks. It also makes it easy to access other networks of bookmarks. I rate this tool as 4 out of 5.

The Zoho tool is user friendly with a lot of graphic appeal. There are many applications available for users. Tools are very appealing and very easy to start up. Many applications for personal or business use. This tool is rated at 4 out of 5 points.

The SlideShare tool was a very easy application for uploading a presentation or slide show. It allowed shared access to presentations. It has simple graphics which are good enough to appeal to the average person. However, the uploading speed may be a little slow depending on capacity of the computer. This tool is rated at 3 out of 5 points.

The Webgarden is an easy application to create your personal website, as easy as can be for website creation. Webgarden offers easy buttons or icons to design the website. It is pretty easy to navigate once you adjust yourself to the design. It is very easy to upload files and place them where you want. This is rated at 4 out of 5 points.

The Teachers.net website is a great site for teachers, especially for new teachers. Easy navigation throughout the site. Many tools for any aspect a teacher may need, even for seeking guidance. Not overloaded with graphics that may distract your search. I rate this site a 4 out of 5 points.
